Step-by-step

Press Home or Menu on the television remote.

Open Settings. Look for a cogwheel ⚙️.

Choose Network, Internet, or Connections.

Choose Wireless or Wi-Fi.

Select the correct home network name.

Enter the Wi-Fi password carefully, then select Connect, Done or OK.

Wait for a message such as Connected to the internet.

Test it: Open YouTube, TVNZ+ or another internet app. If it loads, the connection is working.

Do not press the router’s reset button. Resetting can erase the internet provider’s settings.

Move closer to the router, restart the TV, and select “Scan again” or “Refresh”.

Choose “Show password” if available. Re-enter it slowly and check capitals and symbols.
